Chris Baldwin's Statement Regarding the Skagit County Voter's Pamphlet Omission

To the voters of Skagit County,

I recently learned that my candidate statement was omitted from the Skagit County voter's information pamphlet despite submitting all required materials on time.

When information is missing from the voter's pamphlet, it is the voters who are ultimately impacted. While I am disappointed voters did not receive the information I prepared, I remain committed to reaching you directly throughout this campaign.

The Elections Office offered to mail a separate notice to voters, but I respectfully declined. While I appreciate the Elections Office's willingness to correct the error, I do not believe it is necessary to create additional expenses for taxpayers. Being a responsible steward of public funds is a principle I believe should apply both during a campaign and in public office.

I am grateful for the support I have received. I encourage every voter to learn about all the candidates before casting a ballot. I remain committed to serving Skagit County with honesty, accountability, and responsible leadership, and I would be honored to earn your trust and your vote.
