August 5, 2026 - Yesterday, the people of Skagit County spoke, and with 94.06% of the vote for Chris as your next Sheriff - you sent a clear message.  We are incredibly humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in Chris.

Thanks to your support, Chris has emerged as the clear leader in the Skagit County primary election and will advance to the November 3 General Election. This milestone belongs to every volunteer who knocked on doors, every supporter who displayed a yard sign, every donor who invested in this campaign, and every voter who took the time to participate in our democratic process.

From the very beginning, this campaign has been about something bigger than politics. It has been about service, leadership, accountability, and ensuring that the Skagit County Sheriff's Office continues to earn the trust of every community member it serves.

Over the past several months, Chris has traveled throughout Skagit County meeting with residents, business owners, farmers, first responders, civic organizations, and community leaders.
